How Social Media benefits Businesses
There are many benefits for having a Social Media campaign and a Social Media manager to maintain it.
For starters, a Social Media marketing campaign allows a company to have "control" over what is being
said about a companies product, service and/or custumer service, therefore keeping a business in a positive
light and good standings with consumers. If there is negative feedback or an unhappy customer comment posted on one of the
Social Media sites that you have a profile set up on, then by having a Social Media manager check this for you
on a daily basis allows for the company to address that customers negative concern and turn it into a positive
customer experience.
Next, having a Social Media presence gives a company "visibility" online within the Social Media, there-
fore making a business be known amongst the many other online sites who may have a simalar product or service.
Then there's "relevancy". Having a Social Media marketing campaign allows for businesses to attain
a specific audience who is only interested in their product/service, therefore allowing a Social
Media marketing campaign to be relevant or specifically target to an audience's needs, wants and concerns.
The last benefit that is beneficial to any business is being able to "blog" about new innovative
products or services that a business maybe starting or par-taking in. Having a Social Media manager handle
this for a business allows for new news of a company to be easily put out instantly online when necessary, creating
more of a buzz in the ears of consumers for that companies products or services.
Plus, I must also reinterate, having a Social Media campaign is the least expensive compared to the many other high
priced methods of marketing and the most effective form of advertising when handled properly, however doing Social Media marketing
in-house can be expensive and very much time consuming.
Now, there are benefits for hiring & having a Social Media manager, like setting up accounts. Business owners
don't have to worry about passwords or multiple login accounts because Social Media managers can handle those for them.
Having a Social Media manager helps with keeping track of whats being said about a business online as they will handle
that for them by spending the necessary time online everyday to keep track of what may be being said about a company.
In addition to that, Social Media managers can manage & maintain the entire social presence online. No need to figure
out where to post blogs or anything like that because a Social Media manager will handle that too as well. So a business
owner can stay completely hands free and doesn't have to worry about this because it will be, being handled.
In conclusion, companies like "Starbucks", "Nike", "Ford", "Coca-Cola" and "Dell" are examples of companies who use Social
Media marketing and their brand is now thy most talked about in the online world and
offline as well. Remember, Social Media goes on even if a business doesn't have an established online
presence. And if you don't have someone managing this for your business, then there
could be some damaging info published online about your business product or service
that a company doesn't know that could be unhealthy for a businesses bottom line.
To sum it up, ignoring Social Media is not an option, in this day and age it is becoming a necessity for businesses
that still want to compete. The direct access to consumers and easy modes of interaction make social sites a perfect place to attract
potential new customers, clients or patients. Basically, a business just needs a Social Media game plan, a Social Media manager like me DuShawn Siller,
